MCP Verdict (“we,” “us,” “the site”) is an independent publication covering the Model Context Protocol ecosystem. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
MCP Verdict is operated from India. Our audience is global. This policy is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What we collect and why
Analytics — Google Analytics 4 via Google Site Kit. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), integrated through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on page, referring source, device type, browser, approximate geographic region, and interaction events. GA4 does not collect your name, email address, or any directly identifying information. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We use this data solely to understand which content is useful, identify broken pages, and improve the site. We do not sell analytics data or share it with anyone beyond Google’s standard processing.
Newsletter — Beehiiv. If you subscribe to the MCP intelligence brief, we collect your email address through Beehiiv, our newsletter platform. Beehiiv stores your email, subscription date, and engagement metrics (opens, clicks). We use this data only to send you the newsletter and understand what content resonates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Your email address will be removed from our active list upon unsubscription. Beehiiv processes data under its own privacy policy.
Contact form. If you contact us via the contact page or directly at contact@verdict.local, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this data only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list unless you separately subscribe.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and essential site functionality. Our cookie policy page explains which cookies fire, what each one does, and how to manage them. No cookies are dropped before you provide consent through our consent banner, except those strictly necessary for the site to function.

This list is updated when we add or remove a service. If a service is not listed here, it does not receive data from this site.
Your rights
If you are in the EU (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, or port your personal data. You have the right to object to processing. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@verdict.local.
If you are in California (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it. You have the right to request deletion. You have the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@verdict.local.
If you are in India (DPDP Act): You have the right to access your personal data, request correction, request erasure, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@verdict.local.
Everywhere else: We extend the same rights to all visitors regardless of jurisdiction. Email contact@verdict.local with any request regarding your data.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics 4’s default retention settings (currently 14 months). Newsletter subscriber data is retained while your subscription is active and deleted upon unsubscription. Contact form messages are retained for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.
Children
MCP Verdict is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, email contact@verdict.local and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our data practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted in the newsletter.
